Through The Bible I – LAW AND HISTORY

Description:
This is a four credit course that covers the five books of the law (Torah) and the twelve books of Hebrew history. The student will learn many valuable lessons in spirituality, geography, chronology, canonicals, law, and the general structure of the ancient Middle East culture. This course is necessary to understand the foundation of our Christian faith.

Description:
This course will give the student a detailed study of the Apostles writings and spiritual insight on their personal experience following Jesus Christ and their time with Him on earth. This course is based on a workbook format, The course material is Irving L. Jensen’s workbook. The additional textbook for this course is “What the Bible is all About” by Henrietta Mears.

Genesis I (Messianic Jewish Studies)

Description:
This is a study of the very first book of the Hebrew Scriptures. The approach used in this in-depth study if from a Messianic Jewish perspective, and is based on the commentary work of Dr. Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum, The Hebrew meaning of words and phrases of Genesis will become significant as we follow the “Toldot” structure of this course: eleven family documents written in Hebrew that were handed down from one generation to the next, and eventually to Moses, who wrote the book, Genesis, that opens up and understanding of all creation. This study follows Adam and Eve and moves forward into history. From the chosen “Seed line” of the Messiah, through Gentiles and Jews, we look at the people, events and places that shaped the story of the first 2,000 years of human history. The textbook is the Commentary by Dr. Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum.

The Book of Acts I

Description:
This course covers the beginning of church history which was initiated and propagated by the power and presence of the Acts of the Holy Spirit. This is an exciting book which highlights the ministry of the Apostle Peter as it examines the first twelve chapters, from the ascension of Christ to the beginning of the missionary journeys to the Gentiles. In addition to the Bible (KJV or NKJV), it is recommended that the student make use of a Bible encyclopedia, a Bible dictionary, and other reference materials.
